Trim and Part Die Set (Lattice Bar Tooling)
The lattice bar punch allows the operator to simultaneously trim and punch holes in strip material up to 5/16" thick. Punch two holes at once, round or shaped, and form the radius on the end of the connector in one stroke. Brackets, connectors, supports and braces can all be fabricated in one stroke, yielding a complete part following each cycle.
Custom Die Set punches four holes at once

This Custom Die Set was designed by Cleveland Steel Tool at the behest of a fabricator looking to streamline their operation. Under their previous setup, the plate was moved (rotated) four times, and each hole was punched individually. Using the Die Set, there is only one alignment and one cycle, and all four mounting holes are punched.
Picket Tooling
Picket Tooling is used for cutting and crimping tubing to make fences and gates in ornamental iron. The Picket Tools can be custom sized or shaped for your application. Using your Ironworker, in one stroke you can crimp round or square tubing into the picket shape, and also cut the tubing to size. Almost any Ironworker or Press can be used with this tooling, saving time and money.
Custom Die Set punches three oblong holes simultaneously

Our customer came to us with a requirement to punch three holes at once. By creating a Die Set that fit into the customer's existing Ironworker, and in one stroke could punch three 1/4" x 1" oblong holes in angle iron, the customer was able to reduce cycle time on the parts, eliminate the need for a second and third set up and alignment check, and increase productivity dramatically.
Crimping Punch and Die Set

A customer in the conveyor industry needed to crimp “ears” onto a spindle for a conveyor. A Special crimping punch and die quickly creates repeatable crimps.
Embossing Punch and Die Set

A punch and die set with a raised logo and then recessed mirror image allows rapid embossing of your brand name.

A builder of steel frame structures needed to flatten and trim the ends of pipe, and punch a bolt hole to attach sections. CST designed a die set that cuts the radius, crimps the end and punches the hole.

A manufacturer of files needed to form the tang (handle) using less machining time. In a single stroke, the die set punches out the handle completely to size.
